The Science Learning Hub has developed a suite of resources designed to grow Aotearoa1 New Zealand students' interest in space. Join us to discover ways to utilise the vast range of articles, activities, videos and interactives we have created in collaboration2 with New Zealand scientists, engineers and mātauranga3 experts.

Thank you that was very interesting, the amount of resources is mind-blowing!

    Teacher

Although Aotearoa New Zealand is a relative newcomer to the international space industry, a deep knowledge of space is embedded in mātauranga Māori4. Innovation5 and kaitiakitanga6, which underpin tātai arorangi, also underpin the growing space sector in Aotearoa. It’s clear that Aotearoa has a future in the space industry, so make sure you share the endless possibilities with your students.

This session is valuable for both primary and secondary school teachers.

The PLD for #aotearoainspace was fantastic. I was very excited to get the tidbits on how to use it across all year levels. I can not wait to present this at our next staff meeting!
