Students develop knowledge of new technology that enables fish oil to be added to food without a fishy taste or smell and design an advertisement to promote an omega-3 enriched food.
Purpose
To investigate how and why fish oil is being added to foods in order to develop understanding of the influences and impacts of this new technology. To understand how communication and promotion help in gaining consumer acceptance of new technologies.
