The Science Learning Hub and the Department of Conservation present Pest detectives, a webinar designed to support and inspire educators to incorporate hands-on conservation education into their programmes. We will be using the beautiful DOC resources – investigating plant and animal pests in your green space to show how easy it can be for science learning to be engaging and meaningful. We will also look at the process of scaffolding an investigation and include hands-on activities for gathering data on pests.
This session will be valuable for teachers working at all levels of the curriculum.
