Wildlife Photographer of the Year is a global competition that has showcased the natural world’s most astonishing and challenging sights for almost 60 years. Organised by the Natural History Museum in London, the competition attracts the world's most impressive nature photographers, showcasing a combination of skill, luck, and above all the beauty of the natural world.

The winning images of Wildlife Photographer of the Year 59 were announced at the Awards ceremony in London in October 2023. This exhibition at Auckland Museum is the first time they're on display in Aotearoa.
