September is Bee Awareness month. The bee population in New Zealand contributes about $5 billion to our economy annually and supports about one third of everything we eat.

The focus of this years Bee Awareness month in 2019 is Love our Bees.

Apiculture New Zealand has been running events and competitions for bee aware month for years, find out more here.
